A collection of my favourite tracks and artists that have toured / announced great things / or I’ve had on repeat over the past month. Enjoy!
Frames are a 3 piece alternative rock band from the UK. With a debut EP full of thoughtful lyrics and insanely good instrumentals, this band definitely deserve more recognition.
Shambolic is the fantastic debut album from London based band, Dead Coast. With elements of blues and psychedelic rock, this is definitely one of those albums that you won’t get tired off.
Catfish and the Bottlemen announced they would be releasing a new album later this year, called The Ride. Soundcheck was the first single from this album and received controversial feedback from fans, but ultimately, the instrumental is insane and no one can deny that.
After recently announcing their signing to Hopeless Records and details of a new album called Blush, Moose Blood set off on their sold out UK tour. I first discovered the band when they supported Mallory Knox on tour in 2014 and being a fan ever since, I was thrilled when I got a ticket to the Wolverhampton date.
I was lucky enough to see Airways in Birmingham on April 8th. There was a good turn out for the band, made up of members Jake Daniels, Jamie Reynolds, Brian Moroney and Alex Ruggiero, considering they were one of the first bands up.
Cut and Run is the new single from 5 piece, Tourists. The Torquay group’s previous single, All We Do Is Pretend, gained support from some great names in music and the band were even named the “ones to watch” on BBC Radio 1 – you can see why from this latest offering.
