After gaining support from the likes of NME, Colour Of Spring are back with their new single, Snow. The track is the perfect blend of immense guitar riffs and dreamy, indie rock.
With hazy vocals and a psychedelic blur of instruments, the band from Leeds have nailed the shoegaze sound. The final break down of the instrumental in insane.
As good as Snow sounds, there’s a nice meaning behind it too. The band have said the track is “mainly about inner conflict” and wanting to change your faults for someone you care for. It makes sense through the lyrics, “so selfish / you told me I’m only thinking of my stupid self again”.
The tone of track suits this idea a lot. That’s what makes it feel so raw. It’s one of those songs where you end up getting lost in the music and contemplating even the smallest things. Often my favourite type of song.

This is only the start for Colour Of Spring. An album from these guys would be a complete dream to listen too. The band are on tour right now. I’d definetely recommend heading down to a show if you can.
