The new single from Tourists, Drive, is out tomorrow, Friday 4th November. And it could quite possibly be their finest release to date.
The track was inspried by everyone’s favourite decade, the 80’s, which is clear from the incredibly catchy synth used which begins the track. This gradually slows through the verses, before it intensifies again and is joined by a compelling riff on the chorus.
An addictive instrumental, has the first saxophone solo I’ve heard in a very long time. That along with the haunting vocals keep the bands signature, mysterious sound that we hear in previous songs like Quiet Room.
Tourists are definitely beginning to make a name for themselves in the dream-pop genre, and it’s well deserved.
